Overlap & Follow Through


  I found this article while researching, and it was very compact and easy to understand. Follow the link above to check it out!

What I learned from the article:

Follow Through - The action that happens after the termination of the movement. So this happens after you or the object that is in motion stops. Heavier objects take longer to stop, and you have to take in account the speed of the motion.

Overlapping Action - Loose parts of the body or object that follow the lead or initiator. This gives the animation a more lifelike feel. 

The article also talks about the Initiator and the Effector

Initiator - Initiates the movement.

Effector- Follows the initiator.
